Cities

Today the Great North Road connects the capital cities of the two largest countries forming the United Kingdom. Of course the road predates any united kingdom. And London was not always the capital city it is today.

Between London and Edinburgh we have picked more significant towns and cities along the way to provide a regular cadence to our journey – and to anchor a whole host of smaller towns, villages and places of interest.
